I remember that story Jesus told in the Bible about the judgment when the King told the goats “I was a stranger and you demonized me and built a wall and fired tear gas at me and threatened to use lethal force. So you get to come right on in to heaven.” Oh wait. Actually, what he said was
Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’ (Mt. 25:41-43)
I don’t think he was trying to be subtle.
TIJUANA, Mexico – Migrants approaching the U.S. border from Mexico were enveloped with tear gas Sunday after a few tried to breach the fence separating the two countries. U.S. agents shot the gas, according to an Associated Press reporter on the scene. Children were screaming and coughing in the mayhem.
